This section introduces how installation is performed for AnyBackup server software and gives an overview of the installation process.
Before installing AnyBackup server software, please configure network for the server and assign VIP and DBIP properly. Then deploy all management nodes via remote connection tools or KVM on the server. Refer to the following picture for how to install server software in a three-node cluster with separate management and storage network.

AnyBackup server software is designed for both appliance and software products. They have different installation processes:
§ For appliance with ApolloOS on delivery, just install the server software.
§ For software, install the server software on specified CentOS/RedHat.
