Enhancements
Feature
§ [Oracle Backup and Recovery] When instances or data files are restored to a redirection path, the data file name will not be changed automatically unless data files with the same name exist in the same path.
§ [Logout and Lock] The reconfirmation functionality for logout and lock is added to avoid misoperation.
§ [History] Execution history of backup jobs can be exported.
§ [Data Cleanup for Backup Jobs] The whole page can be selected when the copies are being specified for data cleanup.
§ [Machine Code] A QR code is added to the display area of machine code. The machine code can be quickly obtained by scanning the QR code, so that poor experience caused by handwriting is avoided.
Performance
§ [Backup] The number of concurrent jobs is greatly increased.
- Maximum number of jobs created: 2000
- Maximum number of concurrent jobs:
- Single node: 100
- Cluster: 30 * N (N refers to the number of cluster nodes, value range: 3~6)
Interaction Optimization
§ [Inspector] The inspector interface is optimized. The buttons for which the inspector has no operation permissions are shielded. Only the query button is retained.
§ [Job Search] Job search by job name and type is supported for backup and recovery. It is applicable for:
- Data recovery (exclusive for backup - OFS storage media)
- Data cleanup (exclusive for backup - OFS storage media)
- Remote replication
§ [System Alarm Rules]
- Alarm configuration: The alarm rules to be displayed can be ticked.
- Alarm policy: After an alarm is selected, the alarm level and type can be configured:
- Alarm level: Info, Warning, Error, Fatal.
- Alarm type: pop-up alarm and email alarm.
Reliability
§ [Backup and Recovery] Multi-node cluster backup is optimized to improve reliability.
-
When no more than half of the manager nodes fail, or any number of the business nodes fail, backup can be continued or new backup jobs created after nodes fail can be performed, on condition that the metadata of the job is stored on an available node or the metadata on the failed node is migrated to an available node.
