AnyBackup Family 7.0.18.0 Release Notes

Introduction
        This document provides last-minute information about AnyBackup Family 7.0.18.0. New features, new compatibilities and enhancements of AnyBackup Enterprise, AnyBackup CDM, AnyBackup Express and AnyBackup Disaster Recovery Management can be found in the following sections of this document.
        The release version of AnyBackup Family 7.0.18.0 is available from June 2, 2023. If you are upgrading from previous versions, please review the upgrade guide closely before performing the upgrade.

AnyBackup Disaster Recovery Management
· [Oracle] New features are supported for Oracle recovery:
- Incomplete recovery is supported.
- Backup data produced in continuous log backup can be recovered for Oracle Standalone and HA.
· [MongoDB] Data recovery for MongoDB is supported. Built-in availability validation templates are provided to validate whether MongoDB can provide services normally.
· [Compatibility] The console can be installed on the machine with ctyunOS software (OS: ctyunos-2.0.1-210625-x86_64).

【New Features】
Backup and Recovery
· [File System] Backup and recovery for Linux file system HA is supported.
· [Oracle]
- Continuous log backup for Oracle Standalone and HA is supported, so as to protect Oracle logs continuously.
- Table-level granular recovery is supported. One or multiple tables can be recovered.
· [Informix]
- Data recovery is optimized in the way that the file onconfig, oncfg, ixbar and sqlhosts can be recovered individually and the file chunk can be created automatically during recovery.
- Memory test is supported and the memory limit can be set. When the maximum memory occupation is achieved, the backup job will stop.
- New configuration is added to informixEnv.config: the option that the log backup is converted to the full backup is added. When the option is enabled, a full backup will be triggered in the next log backup, rather than incremental or differential backup.
· [PostgreSQL] The backup data of PostgreSQL HA can be recovered to PostgreSQL HA.
· [MySQL]
- Continuous log backup for MySQL Standalone and HA is supported, so as to protect MySQL logs continuously.
- Table-level granular recovery is supported. One or multiple tables can be recovered.
- Backup for MySQL configuration files is supported.
- Recovery based on the specified configuration file is supported.
- Parameters of the tool xtrabackup can be configured.
· [SQL Sever] Disconnecting database during recovery is supported. When the option Disconnect Database is selected, the current database will be disconnected forcibly even if it is in use and the recovery job will continue.
· [XenServer] The client can be filtered by specifying the application type when creating or editing the backup job so as to select the client to protect faster.
· [Vastbase] Backup and recovery for Vastbase is supported.

· [Remote Replication] The filter time can be set for remote replication jobs.
- Only backup data retained after the filter time will be synchronized when the filter time is set.
- The filter time reset must be later than the most recent filter time configured for the selected job.

- A specific client can be selected as the agent for data recovery in instant recovery job settings.
- loopback is no longer used. iSCSI link and FC link can be configured in instant recovery job settings.

- [Policy] The backup policy is optimized.
§ Only one instance in a job can run when the job is started by multiple policies at the same time.
§ Only one instance in a job can run when the job is started by a policy and manually at the same time.
§ The policy can migrate to a normal node and continue working when the node fails (policy auto migration).

§ The number of continuous backup jobs which are running at the same time is increased to 20. The sum of volumes is 96 at most.
Interaction
· [Node IP Changing] Configuration file can be added in cluster nodes to realize SSH mutual trust between the hosts in a cluster so as to log in to the node without password when the IP of node changes.
· [UI] The backup jobs can be listed in ascending or descending order based on the Start Time of the jobs.
· [Alarm] Time consistency test in the cluster is supported. When the time difference among different nodes exceeds 1 min, the alarm will be triggered.
· [Volume Management] Capacity threshold alarm can be configured.
· [RAID Management] The alarm can be triggered when errors occur to the disk or RAID of appliance.

Security
· [RAID Management] When creating RAID and configuring write cache, Always Write Back mode is transferred to Write Back mode and the disk cache is disabled so as to avoid data loss if RAID capacitor is abnormal.
· [Software] OpenSSL upgrades to 1.1.1t version and Apache Thrift [go-version] upgrades to 0.14 version.
