Introduction
This document provides last-minute information about AnyBackup Family 7.0.18.2. New features, new compatibilities and enhancements of AnyBackup Enterprise, AnyBackup CDM, AnyBackup Express and AnyBackup Disaster Recovery Management can be found in the following sections of this document.
The release version of AnyBackup Family 7.0.18.2 is available from September 28, 2023. If you are upgrading from previous versions, please review the upgrade guide closely before performing the upgrade.

Backup and Recovery
· [PostgreSQL] New features:
- A configuration item is added to configure whether switch xlog is required, so as to prevent archive log overflow due to slow log switch in abnormal environments.
· [openGauss Active-Passive Cluster] New features:
- A node can be selected from the standby database for backup, thus free resources can be fully utilized.
· [Oracle] New features:
- Node backup order can be configured when you create a backup job in Oracle RAC, thus backup can be performed according to the specified node backup order.
- Virtual memory detection is supported for real-time log backups, so that the impact on production environments can be prevented.
- Recovery data verification feature is supported, so that data recoverability can be verified without recovering the data practically.
· [MySQL] New features:
- Virtual memory detection is supported for real-time log backups, thus the impact on production environments can be avoided.
- MySQLProc log can be opened by default, so users can easily get the log on the client.
- The gtid recovery solution of MySQL sharded cluster is optimized, so that recovery with transaction-based consistent rollback globally can be achieved.
· [Dameng] New features:
- The switch control is added to the SBT log output, which is convenient for users to open or close the logs.
· [Informix] New features:
- Dynamic configuration of physical or virtual memory limits on the console is supported for user-friendly operation.
- The parsing method of backing up profile is optimized, so that the backup failure caused by unparsed special symbols in the profile can be avoided.
· [GBase/Informix/SinoDB] New features:
- The modification method of the oncofig file is optimized. When there are multiple values in the parameters of the database config file in GBase/Informix/SinoDB AIX, you can avoid the config file missing due to the erasure of the config file by client installation, backup or recovery.

· [OpenStack] New features:
- Custom script is supported in a recovery job, which can be executed during the VM startup after it is successfully restored.
· [VMware] New features:
- The backed-up VMs is marked as Backup-up when you browse the data sources to avoid repeated VM backups.
· [CNware] New features:
- Backup logic is optimized. Detecting and cleaning snapshots during backup are supported to avoid residual VM snapshots.
- The backup data sources can be filtered.
· [InCloud Sphere] The remote backup and recovery feature is supported. The VM backup and recovery can be realized via the built-in client.
· [File System] New features:
- Integrity check of file backup and recovery data is supported, which is used to check whether the restored data is consistent with the backup data.
- Backup of files with S attribute under non-system disks of the Windows client is supported.
· [Public] New features:
- Security administrators can share D2C (Disk to Cloud), D2T (Disk to Tape), and D2B (Disk to Blu-ray) backup jobs with other operators.
· [Remote replication] Job sharing is supported (only between operators created by system administrators):
- Shared backup jobs can be selected when you create a remote replication job.
- Reverse replication of shared remote replication jobs is supported.
- The data synchronized from the shared remote replication job to the destination can be restored.
- The data replicated reversely from the shared remote replication job can be restored and cleaned up.
· [Kubernetes] Pod-level granularity backup and recovery are supported.
· [AnyShare] New features:
- Document library-level backup and recovery are supported for Anyshare 7.0.4.10 and above (for POC test only).
· [Backup Reliability] Backup reliability is improved:
- In the case of cluster node failure, the ability of policy automatic migration is increased to avoid job failure.
- The backup start process is optimized, so that the job can transition from stalled to running in case of service exception.
- The job monitoring mechanism is optimized, so that anti-deadlock warning is provided for jobs that run for a long time without backup data generated.
- A forced stopping tool is added, so that you can stop jobs forcibly in case of automatic fault repair failure.
Copy Data Management
· [Exchange Server] New features:
- Cleaning up Exchange logs after backup is supported.
- Only mounting backup data is supported in CDM instant recovery. Without database repair, users can view the backup data mounted by themselves.
· Recovery request parameters can be configured for CDM recovery.
· [Data Cleanup] New features:
- The data cleaning process is optimized. The corresponding failure information will be output when the cleanup at a point in time fails.
· [Policy] New features:
- The reliability of policy execution is improved, so that policy abnormality or loss in scenarios such as node power failure or reboot can be fixed.
Continuous Data Protection
· [Continuous Backup] New features:
- Take over and exercise can be performed after the continuous backup of the operating system that supports GPT disk partition and booted by BIOS.

· [Log Management] Exporting logs to PDF files is supported.
· [D2T/D2D2T] New features:
- When the tapes are being cleaned in the tape library, the running tape backup/archive job can pause automatically and wait for the completion of the cleaning to resume the job.
· [Client] New features:
- The client job execution process can be queried remotely.
- The client job execution process can be stopped remotely.
- The execution result of the backup command is optimized.
· [User Login] The authentication mechanism can be switched, so that multiple account logins can be allowed at the same time.
